LOGISTICS KAIZEN

REGISTER FOR UPCOMING MANAGERIAL WORKSHOP

One-day workshops are mainly intended to provide strategic perspective of the Logistics Kaizen activation in the digital era. Managers seeking to learn about good practices, high level conceptual models, pitfalls in implementation of projects, methodologies and evaluate improvement project ideas are encouraged to attend.

The five-module workshop generally includes group work and individual exercises. Managers from different companies will be provided opportunities to share their views on approaches to problem solving and solutions effectiveness.

This workshop offers managers a practical way to review the entire supply chain for better team performance and business outcomes. Each module develops skills from logistics and goal setting to problem analysis and effective teamwork methods. This step-by-step approach helps develop solutions that address the changing needs of the organisation.

MODULE 1

Module 1 provides a comprehensive overview of fundamental supply chain principles, delves into logistics challenges, and examines customer expectations. Participants will develop an understanding of core supply chain elements including procurement, production, and distribution and how these components collaborate to efficiently meet demand. Through case studies, the module highlights typical logistical issues and evaluates strategies for balancing cost, timeliness, and service quality.

MODULE 2

Module 2 introduces key principles, models, and goal-setting strategies. It presents frameworks to align team objectives with organisational strategy and includes exercises on creating SMART goals and emphasising measurable targets for supply chain performance.

MODULE 3

Module 3 focuses on enhancing participants' observation skills and supports the identification of potential challenges within operational processes. Through process mapping exercises, participants are equipped to detect inefficiencies and bottlenecks, employing root cause analysis methodologies to determine the underlying causes of persistent issues. The module incorporates real-world case studies to demonstrate typical errors as well as exemplary practices in the pursuit of continuous process improvement.

MODULE 4

Module 4 covers practical data collection and analysis methods for teams. Participants learn to use quantitative and qualitative tools. Group exercises emphasise collaborative data interpretation to find insights for workflow improvement.

MODULE 5

Module 5 leads participants in creating, evaluating, and implementing solutions. Using structured methods, teams will draft proposals, assess feasibility, and plan pilot tests. The module ends with tips for tracking results, capturing lessons learned, and scaling successful projects across the organisation.
