At the industry level, the CII Logistics Kaizen Activation model encourages organizations to establish strong foundations for change. This involves a deeper understanding of causal factors, increase awareness, and persistent efforts to share good practices. The CII Institute of Logistics (India) and the Japan Institute of Logistics Systems (Japan) are working together to promote Logistics Kaizen in Logistics sector.
The model has been implemented by many companies in India since 2019. It was also evaluated in international contexts to assess its adaptability in various cultural, economic, and customer settings. Based on the feedback, it has been adjusted to meet the requirements of a multicultural workforce and to suit different business objectives. These activation stages apply across industries and are supported by manuals, guidance, and recognition. The model uses a “try, test, and use” approach to ensure practical, lasting improvements. Webinars are offered regularly and are available to all interested companies upon request. Workshops are designed for managers to focus on delivering high level insights and fostering leadership alignment, while team-based activation cycles integrate Kaizen methodologies within daily operations.
Awareness Webinars are designed to present the primary objectives of the Logistics Kaizen Activation Drive. Individuals seeking to implement or initiate Logistics Kaizen at logistics facilities are encouraged to register and attend. The webinar lasts 60 minutes and includes a Q&A. Depending on interest from the community, experts will be invited to share their Logistics Kaizen project experience and its impact on enterprise supply chains.
